Welcome to Hillside
Pizza
We have
relocated to 265 Greenfield Rd. (Rt. 5 & 10) South Deerfield,
between Magic Wings Butterfly Museum and Pioneer Saab Volvo. Our new location is a 24-seat pizza restaurant and our
new processing facility for our fund-raising, wholesale, and catering
enterprises. We are very excited and the move will allow us to try
creative fund-raising ideas and enhance the partnerships that we have
with all of our fund-raising groups.
Our restaurant serves all natural and organic lunches, dinners and
takeout at reasonable prices. Our menu includes pizzas, whole or by the
slice, take & bake pizzas, home made
wrap sandwiches, fresh organic salads, daily specials, natural
beverages, and of course...Hillside cookies! The restaurant is open
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11 AM - 8 PM. Call us at 413-665-5533
Our mission:
Our mission has been to operate our business by benefiting our local
community while we followed sustainable business practices. Local
community organizations have now fund-raised over $110,000 selling our
fresh "take & bake" pizzas and
"scoop & bake" cookies. We have promoted the sustainable benefits
of organic agricultural methods, composting and recycling. Our belief
is that "Healthy" communities start with healthy people and healthy
environment.
We are committed to using only the finest quality natural and organic
ingredients in all of our products. We never use additives,
preservatives, hydrogenated oils, or GMOs. Everything we produce is
hand made in small batches. We've heard over and over that our pizzas
and cookies are "The best they have ever had".
We are CISA (Community Involved in Supporting Agriculture) members and
support organic & local agriculture:
1. Buying organic supports small local independent farms.
2. Organic farming methods help protect our water resources.
3. Organic agriculture increases farm and land productivity.
4. Organic growing methods supports a biological diverse healthy
environment.
5. Organic growing limits toxic and long lasting chemicals in our
environment.
